    Mandatory period for keeping secretarial records by a company

    Is there a mandatory period for maintaining a Company's Records, such as Board Meeting Minute Book, AGM Minute Book, etc...

    If so, how many years ?

    Hello A:

    Corporations are a product of the state that created them. Not all states have the same requirements.

    The word "company" isn't a legal term. A once horse operation is a "company" and he probably doesn't even HAVE secretarial records.
