JD 160 tranny input shaft needle bearing removal
Can someone help? I have a JD 160 that the needle bearings went on the input shaft to the tranny... The old bearing races are all that's left, how do I get them out to replace them? I believe they are pressed in? Do I need a press of some kind to get them out?

    Thanks in advance

After talking with a co-worker, I decided to try the socket with an extension attached, and it worked like a charm! :D FOr what is worth, I hammered them both out through the top, bad news for me though, the printout I used from the jdparts.com website, was for the wrong tranny, now I got to go get the right bearings... oh well could be worse.

    Thanks anyway!
