    Acne on the Cheeks
    Hello
Lately my face has been pretty clear, but about two weeks ago my face broke out horribly, only on my cheeks. My forehead and nose area are completely clear, but my jaw, cheeks, and chin are horrible. It's not just whiteheads, it's like huge red, painful bumps. They're so hard to cover and I'm trying not to wear makeup as to not set them off. What could be the cause of this? It seems like they've come out of no where, and I've been using differen gel at night to try and clear them, but it's not helping. Any suggestions?

Tea tree oil... can get it at most heath food stores. Google tea tree oil uses for acne. Ive used it before and it seemed to help.

Clean your face at least 3 times a day with soap. And don't scratch or squeeze the pimples it will make it a lot worse

Sounds to me like it could be Rosacea. Rosacea is an inflammatory skin disease that causes facial redness, Rosacea affects mostly adults. It is usually on the cheeks, chin and forehead even. In my opinion I think you should see a dermatologist, as the products you are using now can be irritation it all the more. If you do have Rosacea Doctors often prescribe topical antibiotics to treat rosacea, more for their anti-inflammatory properties than to kill bacteria. A common topical antibiotic prescribed is metronidazole. However I think it is wise to see a doctor. The causes of Rosacea aren't really known but they believe it can be hereditary or environmental.
