Can anyone judge if my work out routine will work?
All right, this summer I really want to lose a lot of weight. Not a ton but enough to make a difference. I'll be starting my Senior Year in high school in August and I don't want to be the fat kid again, know what I mean?

What I've been doing for the past three days is walking 2 miles everyday and drinking a lot of water. I walk from my house, to a local historic building a mile away, and then back to my house, taking around 2 hours or so.

Doing this every day, could I lose around 20 or 30 pounds by August 29th? Or what else could I do to lose even more weight? What's the highest possible amount of weight to be lost by that date.

Finally, the diet part. So far I've done bad on my diet, eating burgers, ice cream and doritoes. What are some ways to improve, I'm cutting out the doritoes, I was just craving some earlier but it's out of my system now.

The real key to losing weight is to take in less calories than you burn, every day.

If it is taking you 2 hours, to walk 2 miles, you are not burning much at that pace.

I suggest you pick up the pace, when you are walking, if it doesn't hurt a little, it probably isn't doing you much good.

I'm sure you've heard the saying "no pain, no gain"?

You got to make it hurt a little, if the walking is not at least making you a little uncomfortable, you should pick up your pace, gradually, over time.

Eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, perhaps even get a good vitamin/mineral supplement and take it every day. Find one with a good level of biotin as this helps your body convert the food you eat into energy.

    Stay determined, and good luck!
