Trane XB1000 Compressor fan not working
I have Trane XB1000 A/C. Compressor fan is not running. The Blower fan is running. No cold air coming from a/c. Fan rotates freely when tried manually. I changed both fuses on the box. But still a/c is not working. Any help will be appreciated

You might just have to go and buy another one because you have done everything possible . So if you still have your receipt then go and get the same kind of A/C or you could just get a refund.

Yes, no compressor is running, one of my buddy told me that compressor runs only when fan runs, is there a switch on compressor unit to reset it?
    Thanks,

My Trane XR80 outside unit would not cut on made buzzing sound. The inside unit would come on and blow air through the house but not cold! It turned out to be ants in the relay of the outside unit. The buzzing I heard was the relay trying to work. Took the cover off rear of outside unit, after turning the breaker off, and pulling safety cutoff at unit, VERY IMPORTANT. The ants were in the middle under the brass contact bar. Even after cleaning ants out they were burned to the contacts, I had to push on the contact bar to get it going the first time. Hope this helps someone.
