    Wiring for mobile home swamp cooler
    How do I install wiring for a thermostat, fan control, and swamp cooler in an older mobile home?

    As best I recall, a swamp cooler is a unit that pulls the warm (dry) air through a 'water curtain' and thereby cools it by taking heat energy out to evaporate water. It also humidifies the air, hence the name swamp. They do run cheap though. These are only used in very low humidity areas. Here in the eastern US humidity is probably our worst problem and so they are not used except for a few livestock barns. Never have worked on one. Somebody with more experience with them chime in here.
