    Stuck valve
The hot water side of my glacier bay valve, 2GB0512041281, (outside shower) is not working. Any suggestions on correcting the problem. The valve is less than 2 years old and is used sparingly.

Valves are actually cartridges in most cases and they can clog with debris, usually from your water heater. Shut off the main , remove the handle and the escutcheon plate to get at the cartridge. I'd need a picture to tell you exactly how to pull the cartrdige but there is usually a clip or plate holding it into the valve body. Remove and clean it. While the cartridge is out cover the hole with a towel and have someone turn on and off the main to flush more debris. Do you know how to flush a water heater, I would recommend you do that too.
