Statue of limitations for New Mexico on old unsecured credit cards
I am on ssd and have now been getting letters from attorneys on old credit cards wanting to set up a payment plan. I can barley make my food and utilities and still go without a lot of other necessities. What is the statue of limitations and does that include the time they have sold it to another collection agency? Thank you

    Hello l:

You're "judgment proof". Write a letter to the attorneys and tell them so. They're not interested in going after something they'll never get.
