    Staph Infection?
I recently discovered a bump near the inside of my leg, more on the outter lip of the vagina. It was tender to the touch and I noticed it looked dark in the middle, so I thought it was an ingrown hair. So I tried picking at it, nothing came out. If anything I made I worse. Its so painful now and there is literally a hole in the skin. A very little puss came out, like a small white head, but that was it oh, and blood. But after tearing up my skin down there, I can still see a black dot, I think that is the hair. But it is deep under the skin. I made a dr. appointment tomorrow for a pap. Should I ask the doctor to take a look at the ingrown hair? Could it be a staph infection? Should I take action now, or can it wait another day?

Any response is helpful! Thank you!

Have the dr look at it. I am sure he'll notice it anyway but while he's looking at it you can discuss your concerns about this. And yes, you can wait on this until tomorrow as it does not sound like a staph infection.
