    Instead of cleaning the registry depending on how bad the problem is you may want to look at reinstalling the Operating System. If you do try to clean the registry make sure you have all of you files backed up to something else like an external drive or cd/dvd or you will be in trouble if you make a mistake.

    Actually, recently I've found another way to speed up my poor PC, the software "tuneup360". It's very easy to handle and of course very powerful, my friends and I all use it now, maybe you can have a try.
