    A/C thermostat went dead
    It's a White-Rodgers mod. # 1F82-261 what can I do to fix it or replace it with a competitor?

    What do you mean by dead? Won't control the A/C? No display??
    The first thing I'd do is replace the batteries (if you haven't already).

I believe that when we re-run the program with the correct date and time, if the temp has to go up, the furnace runs until it gets the appropriate temp, then it turns off and when it does that, the thermostat also turns off going to the HOLD state.:confused:
