    Installing a Noma Convection Heater 1000 w
Another question... I want to install a 1000 watt Noma convection heater where my baseboard heater was. From the wall I have a black wire, red wire and a bare wire which I assume is the ground wire. From the heater I have a Yellow wire, a red wire and a black wire. Am I correct in assuming that the BLACK joins the BLACK, the RED joins the RED and the YELLOW and the BARE wire join together??

The yellow wire does not have any green on it. I was told that I should be able to connect the red to red, black to black and then the yellow(ground) to the bare ground wire from the wall

I would see where cord connects inside or measure yellow to case/ground of unit to be sure a direct contact. You are probably? OK?

I'd use a Double 20 Amp breaker with 12/2. Black to black, white to white but put black tape on the white and ground to yellow/green. Theoretically you could use 15 amp and 14/2 but the cost difference is minimal and the safety factor large.
