    Low pressure on Kitchen Faucet
In the last couple of weeks, my kitchen faucet has been cut in half with pressure, however, the sprayer still has full pressure when in use. It's a single head faucet. I don't even know where to begin to look.

    .

    Hi Sandy:

First place to look is at the aerator (see pic.) at the end of the spout.

You want to untwist this counterclockwise to remove it. May need a pair of pliers to get it started (be gentle, but firm grip).

Then turn water on (without aerator in place).

Then clean the aerator (remove parts/clean (remember order of pieces)).

Re-install the aerator and should be all set.

If there is water at good pressure, but not restored after cleaning the aerator, may need to replace it (available at home supply store).

Let me know how you make out... Mark

Kitchen faucet pressure really low [ 1 Answers ]

Hi! I posted a while back about my kitchen faucet. I have tried to clean the aerator and also removed my PUR water filter, but neither suggestion has solved the problem. The water pressure for hot and cold is a little bit more than a trickle and the pressure on the sprayer is like a power...

Kitchen faucet pressure [ 2 Answers ]

I have a glacier bay. The faucet water just trickles out whether hot or cold is fully on. The sprayer works great. Bathroom is just fine. Took off aerator and it is still the same.

No pressure in my kitchen faucet [ 2 Answers ]

I moved into this house about 4 months ago, and all the faucets have great pressure except my kitchen faucet. I get no pressure there, and now very little water coming out of the faucet at all. The house is 11 years old, I have no idea what to do. Can you offer any suggestions?
