Backend Issue with my Lab - Worms?
I noticed today my 7 year old lab has his tail curled to cover his rear end. He also tries not to sit on it and can tell something it wrong with it. I have tried to look, but not had any luck with it. He also will chase his rear end and try and bite it and has wimpered once due to this issue.

I will get him to the vet next week as soon as possible, but since they are closed being the weekend wanted to ask this group. He is eating and drinking so that is good, but was wondering if the symptoms above could mean worms. My in-laws were here and thought that might be it. He does get monthly pills for worm prevention (interceptor). Thoughts?

Go to the vet it sounds like his anal glands. Please don't try to express them yourself it is a stinky mess. Or it can be an injury to his tail. Either way he is a senior and should be examined
