Hey all. How's everyone doing this fine day? I'm starting to feel better, finally, and the kids are back in tip top shape. School is quickly coming to an end, Sydney is done June 17 and Jared on June 26, they can't wait for summer vacation, either can I. :)

Could be your timing is off a bit, Joe. Keep on trying you might catch us online when you log in next time.

    Hi All.

Good to see that you and the kids are better and looking forward to the summer break, Alty. I just bet you hae a few things planned already.. invite me to a BBQ sometimes, OK?

Finished with my Wednesday group and coffee - couldn't wait to get home and sleep a little - sun and high humidity are no fun when you have pneumonia - but a little sleep in my cool bed will make me feel better. Getting through the week one day at a time and looking forward to Friday clean-up.

Why or why is it that when one is sick, one gets extremely hungry - but too weak to go shopping... the things I wind up mixing together as a meal get strange. Had hot-dog with BBQ sauce because I was not in the mood for mustard and ketsup.

    Check you later...

Oh Chery, I haven't been here for a few days and didn't read all the posts I missed. I didn't know you weren't feeling well. Oh Chery, get some rest, eat your funny hot dogs and get better, that's an order. :) Big hug for you Chery, and of course you're invited to a bbq, just have to finish (actually start and then finish) fixing up the back yard. We plan to do some major renos back there this year. :)

Alty.. take your time with the backyard and have fun with the kids. Jaime and her man are going to need a lawnmower soon - when the stuff gets taller than Alexander - then it's time to work on the jungle... :)

Oh goodness Starty, next you will be asking if we have grass in Oklahoma!

When I lived in Nebraska, a new friend from Minnesota actually asked me that. Guess she only knew about the "Dust Bowl Days"! LOL Then a store owner asked me where my accent came from... I looked at my friend. I thought she was the one with the accent. The both looked at me, I"m like, "What accent?" When asked where I was from, the guy leans over the counter and says, "Well, you do wear shoes!" In my part of the south though we say "Ya'll". Just a little funny story for the day. Guess we shorten it even from what rp does?? LOL

Chery and Alty, time to get those bodies healing! Makes me sad to know you feel bad. Hope Alex is better also. Our kiddos mend so much quicker and that is how we would want it but hard on mom and gramdmom! Hope little Alex is better by now.

:p You've probably been hangin' around too much with us the reason you sound like you are from the south! LOL :p "Virtual or not, it's catching. Ha.

I'm glad you liked the story. It was pretty funny. Another one: We had moved to California only for a short time but kept our house here, took den furniture, left living room furniture, etc. I had taken the kids to the sand dunes to sand surf and a gal with her two children from California that had the tiniest sweetest little voice went with us. Every word was spoken so distinctly.

She was asking what the kids wanted to drink and said, "We have Pepsi, Coke, Mt. Dew, Root Barer and even the tone of her little voice changed. We all looked at her and asked, "Tina, where did that come from." We laughed off and on all day. It was great. It even shocked her.
You know what made me remember that?? You said, "I have no accent". You sound just like me! I don't think I do either. :p

One of these days Starty, we need to visit by phone just to see which one of us don't have an accent. That was cute Starty!

Hee hee, Reb, you know, your stories are so sweet, normal every day little things, you remember them as a part of your life, it shows... you remember them well. I love listening and reading about all of you guys and what you have been through, talked about, and what you decide on. You are all so interesting in a different way. It's like our own little town a people trying to make each day count. Sometimes we get as far as the shower, sometimes we get as far as each other. I love this place and all of you;)

All right, I was supposed to watch Gandhi, but its far too late... I fell asleep before I started it the other night so I wanted to watch it tonight, but too bad for me...
I had a full sammich on my plate and a big ole salad, I suppose Grady was hungry cause he looked at me, then my sammich and took it off my plate... ate it... and I was thankful, I just doubled up on my salad and ate the other half of my sammich without saying a word... he better remember how nice I am or... well, I will think of something!;)

I need to shut down the house and be quiet for a bit, hugs and love

Weird! I was on the phone, came in to check mail, your note was posted exactly one hour to the minute of when I sat down to type to you. Things like that just seem special.

It is good that I share my fun little stories of life because if I shared the hard time ones, no one would believe them anyway! LOL Sad but true. It is nice to have this big ol' Huggy Bear of a family all around us everyday, isn't it? I am thankful for each of you!

You were sweet to share your sammich!! I hope you are sleeping well and having sweet dreams right about now!! Catch you later on the morrow. :)
