I would check Thermostat, Water pump leaking?
When cooled, with cap off get up to temperature and look inside and see if it is circulating.
Does your vehicle have a hose from by Radiator Cap that overflows into a Resovoir?

I've replace Thermostat water pump not leaking when I got done replacing the thermostat today the temp gauage would rach the 3/4 mark and stay there at idel it doesn't look like the water is circulating. But my bottom hose is full of water I can't squeez it with my hands when it's running but when I drive it with the Radiator Cap on the temp gauage read to the half way mark and then starts to steam yes I have a hose that runs from my Radiator Cap to my resovoir it's got antfreez in it

New radiator cap I also notice something else at idel when I bring it up to 2000 rpms I notice the water coming out from around the cap when I drove it to work the gauage was at the 1/2 mark and it steam and push the water out from around the cap then only thing I've hadn't done was flush the radiator with the hoses off the motor

I wonder if you have a blockage and not circulating, and being forced out weakest point.
    TXgreasemonkey may have an idea.
Does water ever go from radiator to resovoir and back?
