I have 2 opposite corners that did not lay out the same as the other 2. I cannot figure out how to make the cuts other than having the cut edge of the triangle up against the field tile. Any help I can get would be appreciated.

I would measure from Grout line, test with a piece of cardboard or paper, when you have proper shape, transfer to tile.

So it looks like I will be having a cut edge along the other tile. I already cut the tiles and I'm belt sanding the edge. It's good that one is behind the toilet and the other one is behind the door.

You said earler in one of your posts that you have a wet saw, I'd use it for this shaving work. Your baseboard should cover and small gaps.

I got it. I just thought there was some kind of trick other than common sense, My little 4" wet saw cut all the 12" porcelain tiles diagonally... just took a little longer. I'll be grouting today and I really hate grouting. Also I found out that a wet microfiber cloth works wonders on removing mortar from the tiles even after 12 hours.

I use a permixed stain proof grout and you need to do the first wipe in 10-30 minutes, 2nd wipe 20-30 minutes later and final wipe with a wet sponge soaked in vinegar awter after 45 minutes. The trick you asked about was to flip the tile upside down and slide into place so you can mark it. My eyeball tells me your cut was a simple corner to corner diagonal cut. Your floor must have been exactly 60 inches. How do you intend to seal your curb to the bullnose of the shower pan?

The floor is 60" and I am going to use clear silicone caulk between the curb and the shower pan before I start tiling it and then I'll use some more after the tiles are set. I just grouted the floor and it came out nice.

John Bridge suggested the Swanstone retrofit. I didn't know Koehler made one but theirs was a little out of my price range. I am suggesting different things to my neighbors who now want to remodel their bathrooms and I'm sure they will be asking me a lot of questions. I also just want that tile look in front of the shower floor. I want it to look more like a custom shower instead of a prefab shower floor. Maybe when I tear out the other one piece enclosure from the other bathroom I'll just do my own shower. That will be a while... I'm sick of being in the bathroom and can't wait to get this done.

I knew there was a way to do that cut! I was too tired from cutting all that tile to take time to think about it. I'm kind of in a hurry to at least get vanity sink and toilet installed since I have an unexpected visit from my son and his wife and brand new baby girl the fist week of June. I'll know for next time.

Just wanted to let you know that I installed the toilet today-twice! It leaked from the bottom after I showed someone how well it flushed. I thought I messed up the wax ring installing it but when I tooke the toilet off I saw the culprit... forgot to remove the rag stuffed in the drain. I was too worried about lining that heavy sucker up and not smearing silicone all over he new floor. It works fine and so does the sink.
