My dog puncture a AA battery?
My daschund puncture a AA battery, this happened yesterday late at night, as soon as the liquid came out he stared to shake his head trying to clean it off his mouth, my daughter helped him cleaning his gums with a napking and we gave him some milk, today he is eating and poop and pee, but I was reading all this articles on internet and it seems pretty serious, for what I read he will be vomiting if he ingest some of it. My question is:should I take him to the vet even if I don't see any symptons of intoxication?:confused:

Call your vet and ask what he thinks. Most likely he will tell you if you don't see symptoms don't worry.

The batery acid was burning his mouth. Think of your dog as a baby and baby proof you house. This incident was a warning perhaps next time you won't be as lucky.
