    Maytag Dryer squeaks loudly
I have an older (10+ years) Maytag dryer (model number LDE8200ACE) and had it serviced in the past 6 months. Since then it has begun to squeak, loudly. At first it would squeak right away but stop soon after. Over time it squeaked more and more, and now it squeaks, to varying volumes, the entire dry cycle. It is so loud that even with the laundry room door closed it's still loud! I have a home warranty that will come to repair the dryer, but there is an automatic $55 charge. Can I do this on my own and only buy the part for less than $55, or is it worth the service charge?

    Thanks!

The drum of the dryer sets on wheel made of rubber. Oil them.

We have developed a squeak in the dryer. It does heat okay and clothes are tumbling well. I went online to get the schematics of the dryer drum, but would not know where to start as parts are numbered and not named. Help:confused:
