    Tax rebat
Hi, I am on J1 visa. I enetered USA in 2005 march.
For tax purposes I am a resident for the year 2007 and I have done joint filing of tax returns for year 2007.
Both me and my wife have SSN numbers and both earned more than $15,000 and we are claimed as dependents by any others.

Only thing is that I am on J1 visa (but resident for tax purposes).
So am I eligible for the tax rebate?

    Thanks

If you filed resident tax return, you will get the rebate. In the first lot only those whose return was processed by April 15, 2008 are getting the rebate.
Go to Internal Revenue Service. Click Where is my Refund? Then click Status of my Stimulus Rebate.
