    Shower/Tub Faucet
Just moved into a 20 yr home & went to use the master bath/tub when I noticed low pressure from the shower-head. There's a pull up/down lever on the tub faucet to activate the shower but when it's in the 'up' position the shower has a low-steady stream at best but the tub flow is on as well when it should be diverted 100% pressure to the shower-head. The same occurs when I used the alternate shower/tub... Should I remove the shower-head on both assuming there might be dirt/debris buildup, do the faucets require replacing or is it a plumbing/pipe issue?

    Hey Cyclonej:

YUP! Start at the shower head... there is probably a volume reducing washer in the shower head that can be removed by reaching in with a pair of needlenose pliers or similar and pulling it out.

Reinstall head and see if that improves things... let us know... MARK

How do I fix a shower faucet? [ 1 Answers ]

My shower faucet doesn't turn the full 180 degrees, only 90 degrees, so the water doesn't get hot enough for a shower. I know it's not the water heater because every other faucet in the house works fine. Is this an easy fix?
