Me and my boyfriend have been together for about 2 1/2 years now. We break up all the time. One day we are together then the next we aren't. Everything was perfect until I had to move to Colorado. I was gone for about 6 months and we tried out a long distance relationship. My parents never liked him much, so we snuck around for a long time and then the last time we broke up he told me the only way we would get back together ways if I talked to my 'rents about him. So after about 2 weeks of taking a break from one another I talk to my parents and we got back together. Now that everyone knows, like my family and his too he doesn't seem to care about me the way he used to when we first started going out or when we had to sneek around. He tells me he loves me but he doesn't show it. When I call him and he's with his best friend he puts me off to the side till he's done hanging out with him. He won't text me, or call me unless I call him first. Starting to think that he only took me back so he can get sex. Any ideas? Is he cheating or is he not in love with me anymore?

Young love is rocky, and deceptive but real love doesn't just break up all the time, and get back together over and over. You are a long distance, sometime love, he can go back and forth with. Can you handle that? If not cancel this confusing crap, and find something solid and fun.

Tal is right. And you're missing the whole point. Your questions are all about him - "is he cheating?" "does he still love me?" "is it all about sex?"

Why do you need to ask perfect strangers these questions? You know we can't answer them, so they must not be your real question. You can't do anything about him or his actions. So what is the point?

I'd offer that the point is "Why am I working so hard to keep such a depthless relationship alive?" Now THERE'S a question about YOU. And that's something you can work out.
