    Change of status f1 to h1
    Hi,

    I am kiran from India. I got f1 visa recently and also I was selected in h1 lottery. My question is whether I can enter US on f1 and then change status to h1 immediately.

    Not a good idea... if you enter US with F-1, then you have to leave to get your passport stamped in order to validate H-1B.

    Hey but after change of status I need to get h1 stamping only if I leave US. Am I right?
