    Ceiling Fan
I have either a Hunter or Hampton Bay Ceiling fan without a light fixture. I am trying to install a light kit and having a problem removing the canopy to get at the wiring. How does the canopy disconnect from the ceiling fixture?

    The Model Number is 44DC10

Since there are about 1349 different models between those two manufacturers a picture or model number is the only way we will be able to help you.

If it is a Hampton Bay, there is a ring around the top of the canopy that hides the screws.

If it is a Hunter, it depends on the model.
