    Summons from my creditor
    I received summons from my creditor and I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO ANSWER THE SUMMONS I have only 8 days to answer. I am here in Florida help please with any information

    Under the Bankruptcy and Debt forum there are hundreds of threads that discuss this same issue.

    Basically you file a letter stating your Intent to Defend against the suit. A copy of this is then sent to the plaintiff asking for verification of the debt.
