    Loose faucet
The faucet on my tub has loosened to the extent it can be turned almost 90 degrees. How do I tighten it?

Would this be a Moen tub valve with a faulty tube stop? Does the handle almost turn all the way around? Talk to me! Cheers, Tom

Judy, the spout is screwed on or it has a small hex set screw on the bottom side. Get up under the spout and lookfor the screw, tighten it if you find it or if none then turn the entire spout clockwise until its snug and in the corect position, you got kids?

We just installed a new Price Fister faucet in our kitchen sink. The lever that turns the water on doesn't stay up unless you hold it (up is on, down is off). We can't lift the handle halfway to get only a little water because the handle falls to the off position immediately. Is there a screw to...

Loose faucet housing [ 1 Answers ]

Thanks. I have a center-set 2-handle widespread kitchen faucet (learned all that from internet LOL), with the classic "J' shaped spicket that rotates. It seems that the J-shaped section keeps coming loose from the outside of the sink especially with multiple rotations when washing dishes. ...

My kitchen sink has three pieces, the spout, the handle and a sprayer. The spout part is very loose and when I turn it the sprayer part also moves.
