    Bad dog
    My dog is a girl staff and today my pregnant girlfriend took her out a young child came over when they was sitting down an put her head by the dogs and the dog scragged her hair and was growling she as never ever done anything like that before we have a child aged 5 and am unsure weather we keep the dog or what can we do to stop anything like this happening again can we stop it or is it to late ?

    Maybe the little girl has a dog and your dog picked up the scent of her dog. I have had dogs that probably came in contact with hundreds of people, and decided to growl at maybe 3 people out of them all, for some reason.

    You could get an opinion from an obedience school type expert. But you have to be comfortable with keeping the dog and I don't think you are at this point in time.

    Not the dogs fault, the little girl shouldn't have come up and done that. The dog might have felt threatened. Obedience classes are always a good idea. This is the first incident, don't think about getting rid of the dog just because it acted like a dog.
