Normally I'd say I'm doing good LOL...
But if I did that now, it would be a big fat lie.
Found out I have to have surgery to remove my gallbladder today...
I have no health insurance... that sux! But it has to come out...
Sorry I don't mean to complain.
I could look on the bright side... at least I know what's been causing all my discomfort for the last 3 months...

Hi there! Sorry you have to have your gallbladder out. :( It is good that recovery time is fairly quick and the procedure is much less invasive than it use to be. I don't mean to say it is a "Walk in the Park" by any means and I don't take it lightly but I had mine out awhile back. I was relived to get it done! I just know you will be glad when it is over. I sure was. I will be thinking about you and sending "healing" thoughts your way and a prayer will be lifted in your behalf for quick recovery! :)

    Thank you so much.
I feel the same way as you do actually, I just get anxious very easily lol..
From what they've explained to me so far about the surgery,
It sounds like the pain I'm having now is actually worse than the pain from surgery. I will be so relieved to have it done.
I've had 2 c-sections and bounced back no problem (well considering)... not making light on the situation either, but I was hoping that it would be a walk in the park lol.;)
Thank you so much for your thoughts and sharing your experience, it gives me reassurance :)

It will all go well, I know it will.
My wallet will be feeling the pain LOL but I will definitely be feeling better.
They gave me some nice meds to get me through the weekend too, so all is good ;)

AK, hope all goes well and that you get well soon. Glad you made it here.

Albear, I knew you'd find us without problems, you just have 'good radar' to lead you to the right places.

Good Morning AMHD Family.. how are you doing this fine morning? I had some plans today, but a about of sciatic nerve ache just put a crimp in them all. Oh well, can't expect every day to be super, so I'll rest in bed with my cat and use an ice-pack.

Has anyone seen J_9 lately? I think it's time for her to show up here, since all her exam time is done and she is now our very own Nurse!

Alty, your username gave me the hint that you have a german background.. say hi to your family over here for me when you chat with them next time.

    Have a great weekend, all!

Hi all, good morning. It's supposed to be 30 degrees Celsius today, that's 86 degrees fahrenheit, wow! :)

Chery, you, the name does give it away doesn't it? My moms entire family is still in Germany and it's a big family. My mom was one of 11 kids, 8 are still living, they have kids and those kids now have kids too. I was there last in 2001 with my husband, son and mother. My mom died 3 days after we arrived in Germany, she never did get to see everyone, which was her final wish, it still haunts me that it didn't happen. I would like to go for another visit next year, it's just so expensive for 4 people to travel there, then we'd have to rent a car etc. I do want very badly to make it happen, I miss my family there so much, and I miss Germany. :)

AK, I'm so sorry that you have to have surgery, I'm sure that you will feel better once it is done, my Aunt is going through the same thing right now, she gets her gallbladder removed next week, they have to wait because she had shingles two weeks ago. I'll be thinking about you and sending good thoughts and wishes your way. Take care.

I hope everyone else is doing great and has a wonderful day. :)

Good morning to you all. It's now 16:23 here and I just woke up from a short nap.

Hey alty, give your folks in germany my german email address if you want to, it will be nice talking to them.. I too have over 109 relatives in the Paderborn area from my grandma's side, and about the same amount from grandpa's side in the Bad Duerkheim area. My grandparents resided in Berlin and that's where my mom and uncle were born. The only real close ones left here are my uncle (80 this year) and cousin (she has two wonderful kids) - they now live in Trier as her husband is Chief of Surgery in the Catholic Hospital there. Being near Ramstein, I don't get to see them much but we chat with webcam a lot.
My dad's side originates from Hazard, Kentucky and I tried to find them, but no success yet - I was hoping that I'd find some with help, but oh, well. We can't have everything.

Anyway, I will PM you my german web address so that you can share it if you wish.

    TTFN,

    Thanks Chery,

Most of my relatives don't have computers, the only one is my cousin, he lives near Worms with his wife and 6 year old daughter, he's like a brother to me, spent a year with us in Canada when I was 15, he was 18, it was great having a brother for a year. :)

I was born in Rothenburg ob der Tauber and lived in a small town called Weikersheim until I was almost 4 years old, that's when we moved to Canada. I miss my German relatives so much, especially my mom's sisters (my Tantes) Inge and Lilo, I wish that I could see them more often, it's hard living so far apart. I hope me and the fam can make it there next year, I'd love for my relatives to meet my daughter and to see how much my son has grown, he wasn't quite 3 years old when we were there last, he's 9 now, he sure has changed since they saw him last.

Today is going to be a great day, I can tell, the bunnies are all full of piss and vinegar, ready to hop around and enjoy a warm wonderful day. I Hope that all of you have a beautiful day to enjoy as well. :)

Morning everyone... seems I have missed quite a bit in the last day or so, lol. Been busy trying to get a new roof put on my house and FINALLY things are looking bright for me. Looks like there will be a refi happening soon and we will get the money needed to make it stop raining inside our home.

Kae... so sorry to hear you have to have surgery! Look at it this way.. you get to be waited on hand and foot for a few days, lol. There always is a bright side, huh? Hehe

Alty... thought you might want to know... we are going to play with the bunnies at the pet store in just a few minutes ;) heehee Our weekly trip to get worms and crickets for the gecko... Colton's favorite thing to do, lol.

Everyone else... Hope you all have a great day!

Hi RP, playing with bunnies is always fun, give them all a hug for me. :)

My four fur balls are having a blast today, hopping around in their bunny binky room and loving every minute of it. My newest bunny, Kilala, is quite the little energizer bunny, she's got spunk to spare and is loving her new home.

Can you tell I love my bunnies? :)
