Cleaning the dust and lent out of the unit so that it will suck properly.
My air central heat/air was coming on but was not sucking air in through the vents to return the cold air I tried cleaning but had no luck then eventually it started making a noise the sounded like it was trying to come on but then quit. I went a month without putting filters in where it sucks the air. I think that maybe it needs to be cleaned. I don't know how to do this. Any suggestions?

It would probably be best for you to call a professional HVAC person to look over the condition of the entire unit.

I agree with hvac1000. Its time to call a professional, the cups on the blower wheel are dirty restricting air flow and if they are dirty the inside of the evaporator coil is twice as bad. If you can see major dust build up on the blower housing, wheel, or motor it will need to be serviced.
