I was planning on spending the weekend working on a few projects I've been putting off, number one was a new coffee table for my family room. I think I might just have to wait until I get better, working with wood and breathing in sawdust is probably not a great idea right now, sigh.
Do you have any exciting plans for the weekend Stringer?
No, just things that need done; cut the grass, possibly attempt to again clean and organize the garage, things like that. But mostly just relax.
I have been extremely stressed lately, mainly from business related things and a constant barrage from an egotistic, narcissistic, anal retentive, bi polar business partner (pain in the --PITA). So I need the weekend to "replenish" for another go next week. Business is tough, especially in a very competitive business. A constant battle with competitors, dealing with clients... this constant PITA just magnifies the stress... Oh well, that's life... if the business wasn't so successful... he would be on my "doesn't exist" list.
Enough complaining dear, sorry... just got off the phone with him and... well complaining doesn't really help and at least I have a lovely wife who understands (haha she wants a contract put out on him---no, she is kidding, really)... you know.
Get better soon, and get outside the weather is fine here in Chicago.. about 75 degrees and sunshine today...

Dear Stringer - You know that this is the right place to vent. We are here to listen and let you get it out so that it does not build up too much. You guys have no idea how much you've helped me in my times of need and it has helped me tremendously just to let it out, which I thank you all for being there...
If Marta need some help, let her know that I'd be more than willing to assist her in her ventures (ha.ha) but it is good that she backs you up.
Vent all you want hon, and lots of Virtual Hugs from across the 'Big Pond'.

Hon, that's the only way, so crash right in any time... some conversations are above my head and I step out for a few days, but then come back to the old 'watering hole'. You are always welcome - and don't you forget it!
Speaking of lunch, today I sliced and threw in some cooked potatoes, peppers, onion, bacon bits and two eggs into a microwave dish and let it cook. Was surprised at how delish it was, even better with a little hot sauce. Oh, my stomach is going to get back at me for that, but it tasted great going down.
Tonight it's going to be a chicken pot pie and a tall glass of strawberry flavored milk.
Going shopping tomorrow - got to get some more hair color and the only place I can get it is in a special wholesale store. I want my hair silver-gray. Ironic that most women get gray hair and don't want it, but the women in my family never get gray hair - my great-grandmother's fault.
What are your plans for the weekend?

Thank you sweetheart seriously I appreciate your words hon.
I really don't like complaining like that, it just gets overbearing at times (And I know after 15 years--he isn't going to change.)
By nature I have always been the one that was the "Father Confessor" if you know what I mean hon. Everyone seemed to come to me in high school, college, and ever since with their problems, I don't mind and I really try to fix them if and when I can (sheriff).
But the stress that kills you is the kind that has no resolution... and that is what I 'm facing almost daily.
Opps, I did it again, drained myself like a leaking bucket didn't I? I am beginning to feel better now and things find a balance...
Thanks again Chery for letting me rant...

That's OK dear. I always was there for everyone else. I was always able to help them out with their problems somehow - but never quite was able to help myself with my learned experience and still seem to make the same mistakes. I've learned though - better late than never - that I come first from now on, except for my AMHD family and loved ones here at home.
So, welcome to the 'bleeding hearts for everyone else club' and vent here with me so that we do get some relief too. WE DESERVE IT.. and I know all of our friends here will agree.

I'm on board Chery, you vent away Stringer. How many times have you guys listened to me vent, you never complain, just listen, give advice, sometimes a shoulder to lean on, that's why I love all of you so much. Okay, mushy moment over.
How is everyone today?

Uh...
One night, a Delta twin-engine puddle jumper was flying somewhere above NewJersey. There were five people on board: the pilot, Michael Jordan, BillGates, the Dali Lama, and a hippie. Suddenly, an illegal oxygen generator exploded loudly in the luggage compartment, and the passenger cabin began tofill with smoke. The cockpit door opened, and the pilot burst into the compartment.
"Gentlemen," he began, "I have good news and bad news. The bad news is that we're about to crash in New Jersey. The good news is that there are four parachutes, and I have one of them!" With that, the pilot threw open the door and jumped from the plane.
Michael Jordan was on his feet in a flash. "Gentlemen," he said, "I am the world's greatest athlete. The world needs great athletes. I think the world's greatest athlete should have a parachute!" With these words, he grabbed one of the remaining parachutes, and hurtled through the door and into the night.
Bill Gates rose and said, "Gentlemen, I am the world's smartest man. The world needs smart men. I think the world's smartest man should have a parachute, too." He grabbed one, and out he jumped.
The Dali Lama and the hippie looked at one another. Finally, the Dali Lama spoke. "My son," he said, "I have lived a satisfying life and have known the bliss of True Enlightenment. You have your life ahead of you; you take a parachute, and I will go down with the plane."
The hippie smiled slowly and said, "Hey, don't worry, dude. The world's smartest man just jumped out wearing my backpack."

Pillow fight, that sounds fun, definitely head over to that, bring a huge pillow! :)
I miss being young, so many fun things to do, no huge responsibilities, I'd like just one weekend to be 15 again. Wait, with one stipulation, 15 knowing what I know now, not what I thought I knew then, sound good? ;)
Do me a favor, whack someone in the head with your pillow for me, stay out late, and have a blast! :)

It was about a boy who found a dragon (the dragon was the cartoon part) and a family tried to take it away from him. They were trying to make a profit off him or something. Its characters look run-down kind of like chimney sweepers back in the day.

How would I use a voltage tester? Would I go from outlet to outlet measuring the voltage? I've gone around the house and tightened outlets and opened the panel and tightened the screws that were not tight.
I haven't seen the lights dim since I tightened everything.
Thanks a lot!
