Is there a way to select a color I can see on an image and use that color to 'flood/fill' an area? For example I paste a logo as a layer and I want to use one of the colors of the logo as the background color.

I use PhotoshopElements and believe the feature is the same.

Open your color picker, then click on the area of your picture that you want to mimic the color for.

That will put that color in the foreground color box.

Now choose the paint bucket tool and it will be set to flood with that color.

So good to run into someone that is familiar with Photo Elements.

This is my problem. I'm trying to take two pictures of different sizes and copy and paste "a person's head" from one jpg onto another of a different size. I can outline the head and copy and paste it onto the other picture but when I do this the head is huge compared to what I'd like it to be. What I've done in the past is highlight the newly moved head and repeatedly use the corner anchor and make it smaller and smaller until I get it to be the size I want.
In doing so, unfortunately, the moved and made smaller head losses much of its clarity.

So how do I "size" the two jpg files before I begin? If you can help I'd certainly appreciate it. If it will help I'd gladly send you the two pictures (jpg files) and perhaps you could tell me what steps to follow.
