    Water pressure from Well
Hello. I have been living in my home for 12 years. The water pressure has been fine until recently. The water seems to "pulsate" for lack of better words to use. When I go to the basement where the pressure tank is, the tank (Well-X-Trol #203) is in bad shape. All rusted on the bottom and stating to lean over. I plan on getting this replaced. All that being said, when water is running, I am now hearing load "clicking" noises coming from the box next to the pressure tank. When I get the pressure tank replaced, will this fix the "pulsating problem and the noise?

    Thanks for you help.

Yes, I think it will. When you go to replace the bladder tank, and before you pressure up, set the bladder tank air pressure at 2PSI under the cut in point of the control box. While you have the breaker shut off to the pump you might check the contacts in the control to see if they're pitted and still making good contact. Good luck, Tom

Do it soon. Sounds like your pump is cycling off and on frequently. Every time the pump cuts on, it stresses the pump. Replace the tank soon.
