    Illeostomy care
I had an illeostomy about 7 months ago and apart from a slight hernia in the area of the Stoma all has gone quite well.

I change the pouch every other day and am quite careful with the cleansing of the area.

The Stoma itself is nice and healthy looking and there is no unusual discomfort however there are a couple of very small yellowish dots, is this normal please.

Please have your doctor look at this area and the yellow dots to be sure. This is still a new stoma and should be totally healed by now.
