Wow, you guys. Starby, we are all so lucky to have friends like all of these people. You guys are the greatest.

Starby, you know that you can call me anytime, day, night, doesn't matter. Keep us posted on Niki, if you don't feel like typing I can update everyone if you want. I know that they are all worried about Nik, and you, as am I.

An update for everyone who was so kind and sent licks and hugs to Niki. I brought her home late this afternoon, and she was sooooo happy to be in her own home! After 86 stitches and the whole ordeal, she seems to be fine, but groggy and a little disoriented. I hardly recognized her because now she looks like a little pink piggy! My poor fur-less baby. :(

She has been prescribed "knock em out" painkillers,. and Starby thinks she might just try one of those, LOL!

I'll explain more later if anyone wants to know all that happened, but right now I REALLY need some sleep... now that I know that she is going to be okay!

Thanks everyone, again! (... and thanks again Alty for being awake when this all happened, to listen to me freak! LOL)

We're all just so glad that she's okay. Poor little Niki Noodle, or should I say Miss Piggy (Just kidding Niki, your fur will grow back).

I am so sorry your baby and you had to go through this Starby, but I am glad she is going to be OK.:)

Starby! Niki is so lucky to have someone like you to love and care for her. I hope you get some rest and hope Niki rests well tonight.. I know Niki is happy to be home. In awhile, her fur will grow back, and all that will remain will be the scars that proves that there was an injury but with tender loving care, there was also healing!

How traumatic that had to have been on both of you. I am just so sorry this happened.

I will pray for you that the memory of this time be diminished as the healing takes place in Niki. Then you will both be good as new.

Sleep well and know you are loved and so is Niki!

Awww, thank you to all of you for your prayers and well wishes for Niki! It's funny because when I sit down and talk to her, and try and cheer her up I always tell her that she needs to get better because all of her Aunties and Uncles, said so! That sounds a little weird doesn't it? Oh well, I don't care!! :p I will do anything to get her back to normal... well almost anything... LOLOL! ;)

I had to take her to the vet again today because I can't get her to eat or drink anything! The only way she will drink water, or eat even a bite is out of my hand. The vet gave me some big syringes today to force her to drink more.

All she does is sleep, and look so sad. Every little sound scares her to death!

I have been sitting here since 4pm or so, waiting for the police to come so they can finally make a report. I have called them 3 times now tonight, and they haven't showed! So do I have to take Nik to the donut shop? Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!

Poor little girl... she really was traumatized and understandably so. Makes my heart sad for you and her.

For some reason, there is a real time delay on notification of responses to posts this week.

I didn't know you had arrived yet. Did anyone else show up tonight? I had company and a huge headache all day. I know you and Niki don't need a lot of partying yet but one day, we will celebrate her healing! Agreed?? Ask Niki if she agrees with Auntie Rebby please??

Headaches must have been catchy today Rebby! I have had a huge one all day too!

Well, I'm not sure what to do here?! Do I call the police station again? This is retarded! I mean it's been like 7 hrs now! Crazy!!

I am sad that she is so frightened but that will pass with time. Poor little girl. Well Starby, I am going to have to head on home. Have to trim all the hedge and cedars at my parents home tomorrow so it will be a long day. Maybe we will all feel better next Friday. I am going to be praying for sweet Niki that healing comes quickly to her body and spirit.

I hope you have smiles too. I am worried for you.

Starby, my experience with the police has not been good so I am not a good one to say. It is ridiculous you have had to wait so long. No wonder you have a headache. If you are up for it, I would call them and ask for a specific time. Let them know how long you have waited. You can't be expected to just stay glued at home until they decide to do their job.
