    Sometimes having pain when you pee can be a symptom of a UTI... if in doubt, and it causes you concern, always wise to have it checked.

    My dad gets kidney stones all the time. He says when he has to go to the restroom is when it hurts the worst. It hurts him in his lower back and sides sort of like cramps. So it could be a kidney stone. I would make a trip to the Dr. to make sure.

    A UTI is a urinary tract infection. Otherwise known as a bladder or kidney infection. When these happen with pregnancy it is imperative you see your doctor and get it treated immediately.

    It is an urinary tract infection. Which can also cause discomfort while using the restroom.

    Yes, it is possible since not all antibiotics work in the same way. What you take for a respiratory infection may not cure a urinary tract infection and so on.
