    Remote Desktop Connection
    I hv Windows Xp on my desktop, now I want to connect a laptop via remote desktop.

    Now I connect my desktop to laptop with LAN cable and then try to connect remote desktop it say "The WORKGROUP domain/workgroup does not contain any terminal server"

    So what I hv to do to connect a laptop to my desktop via remote desktop connection.

    Help with detailed discription with full explained procedure...

    On the computer you are remoting to:

    Create a password for the user on the remote computer if you haven't already
    Right click My Computer > Properties > Remote Tab > Check the Box that says Allow Users to remotely connect to this computer
    Record the computer name

    On the PC you are remoting from:
    Start Menu > Accessories > Communications > Remote Desktop Connection
    Enter the computer name click connect and login
