    You may have to talk to a lawyer about that and if the father is willing then I think you will have to go to court, but that can be done.

    Since the actual paper work has to be filed in court, and it can not be done prior to the birth, but yes, they can have an attorney fill out the paper work, giving physcial and legal custody for the child to the father.

    The mother can still be liable for child support if the father decides to ask for it.
