I am going shopping this coming weekend.

I am buying at LEAST 2 new pair of shoes, 2 pair of slacks, 1 skirt, 2 blazers, 2-3 nice tops, and something sexy to wear underneath it all.

Lucky Synn, I haven't bought anything for myself in so long that I can't even remember when I did. The kid's always get new stuff, so does hubby, but for some reason I never get anything for myself. I seriously need a shopping spree! :)

I want sexy shoes, but I don't have anything to wear them with. :(

... speaking about shoe shopping, HBI and I went to the mall yesterday (relax alty... I needed a girl's perspective on some clothes). She just spent $600 on a pair of jimmy choo's.

... that girl certainly knows style.

But other than that, BAIL OUT, BAIL OUT!

Sneezy, $600 on a pair of shoes? My first car only cost $500. Wow, I have a hard time spending $30 on a pair of shoes. Sad, so sad. What does a pair of $600 shoes look like? Are you lined in gold? ;)

Starby, we love your bubble babble! I need more coffee! :)

Okay, is the gold part real gold, 24K gold? Really, I want to know! ;)

I can't get over it. My wedding shoes only cost $100, and that's the most I ever spent on a pair of shoes, man was it hard handing over that $100 for a pair of shoes that I was only going to wear for one day! Also, they gave me blisters, I had to walk barefoot most of the time we were in Hawaii because of the blisters from my $100 shoes.

Are the $600 shoes really comfy? They have to be, otherwise, why? ;)

    According to HBI, they're "fabulous".

... don't ask me. I'd rather walk around barefoot.

Those are cute Sneeze! I would probably break my neck on them though! I can't believe how long it's been since I wore a nice pair of heels! I'm usually in my sandals or flats. Oh I forgot.. how could I forget?. I got a very cute pr of black boots from my mom when she got home from FL. They are pretty sweet looking, and not too terribly high.

Good shoes, really good shoes, are worth the money.

When I buy dress shoes these days, I don't spend less than $50 on them.

With shoes, most of the time, you get what you pay for, and if you're on your feet all day, in heels--damned straight they're going to be comfy AND look good.

    Morning all...

    I GOT A RAISE!! Woo-hoo!

Not much, but something... and on this writers salary I can only dream of Jimmy Choo's...

But then again, I don't need Jimmy Choo's to look "pretty hot and tempting"... ;)

My feet are swollen (since I was born) because of my lymphoedema. I wear whatever cheap shoes I can get to fit, because I don't have as much feeling as everyone else. Screw shoes that make your feet hurt... I barely feel it, lol.

I've got a $30 pair of size 14 sneakers on from meijer right now.

Lol... Its all in how you wear them, Alty Dear...

Looking like a million bucks doesn't depend on how much you spend on shoes... ;)

    Yeah, congrats Chicky!

I had about 6 months in and I got a $2 raise... on top of the $1 raise they already gave me. It's fun to be good at what you do.
