    How do rebound relationships work
I thought rebound relationships don't work. How can someone you were dating for quite a long time, and then they meet someone a couple of months later and be so happy? I just don't get it. That new person doesn't see the flaws and that person has changed since you dated him. Aren't they the same person, and can they change and be so happy, when they had so many issues?

Everyone prefers different things in people. So one thing that might annoy the heck out of you, might not matter to someone else, and vice versa.

To me, a rebound relationship is going out with someone and then in a couple days going out with someone else. A couple of months seems a bit long for a rebound.

To sum it all up, you two didn't work out. You just didn't fit.

I think that someone who rebound dates so quickly doesn't really take the time to learn anything from their past relationships.. it's essential to take a step back and learn from experiences to really contribute in a new way to a healthier relationship.. I wouldn't worry about that person... it'll all come crumbling down and they will just bounce to the next not having learned what they should have over and over... you just concentrate on yourself and put your energy there...

There is nothing to get, you weren't compatible, and changes were made. Your still in shock, they are not. Your confusion at the way things worked out is evidence of that. Maybe you want the new relationship to be a rebound, but after a few months, I doubt it.
