Is there a place where I can create a free website of my own? I want something of a bloggy type of website, but something I can easily design to my own liking... :D

I Googled "free web hosting" for you. Bravenet is a pretty good one, I use it. Its about in the middle of the page. You can put whatever you want (including blogs) on these sites. Here you go :

If you want something more like myspace that is already set up, all you need to do is customize it, you can do Facebook, myYearbook or Yahoo!360. You can blog on all of those and it is already set up for you.

You can add a Blogger onto Bravenet. Here is the Bravenet site :

Web Hosting, Free Web Hosting and Web Tools from Bravenet.com.

Everything on the huge list of links is what you can add. :)

Bravenet can't be customized as far as I've seen.

If you join Google you can have up to three websites for free. I'm not sure about using your own or their templates yet, because I am still exploring their possibilities. Google also owns https://www.blogger.com/start which is very much like having your own website.

Are you wanting a site that gets excellent exposure when people do searches or just someplace that you could call your own and be able to let people know about it?

wordpress.com offers free Wordpress blogs, there are lots of wordpress templates available and you can modify them with a basic knowledge of html and css. There are also a lot of nice add ons available for Wordpress, it supports more features than Bolgger.
