Did you reinstall the drain line via an air gap on the counter or a big loop in the line under the counter?

Does it matter that there is a sag in the drain hose as it heads to the drain. The dishwasher was moved one foot further from the drain during renovations. What do you mean by air gap?

Air Gaps for dishwashers and water softeners Air gaps are required by some codes to be inline with the drain. They go through the counter top and sit up like a faucet.Guess you don't have one so it must be a large loop. Disconnect the drain line where it Tees into the sink darin. Lay it down to the floor into a 5 gallon bucket and run a cycle to see if it drains better. Come back with your results and definitely get rid of that sag, it contributes to back siphoning.
