Can I get served at work?
Can a judgement be served to my employer, or does it have to be served to me directly. My employment is on file with the debt collection agency, however my address has changed and I have not been contacted personally, however collection letters are being sent to family members

I always serve people at work.

    It is almost fool proof.

Unless someone is looking out for them, it is pretty hard to hide from the sheriff when he shows up unannounced.

I learned a long time ago that all someone has to do is not answer the door at home, and you can't get them served.

Once I learned that lesson, I NEVER serve anyone at home, if I know where they work.

You may be served anyway. And yes, at work was normally a good place, they could not just run off and not be served.

And it can be mailed to them there if mailing it is allowed in their rules of service
