Yes, there is such a thing as a class 1 felony. You're lucky to even be walking the streets. Be happy that you aren't in prison right now. Enjoy the fresh air and stay far away from trouble. If you get in any more trouble, especially while on parole, you may never see the light of day again.

If your PO says no, then NO it is. Drill that in right now, for your own good. Be happy that he said no instead of considering you a flight risk. Be to every single one of your appointments 30 minutes early. If you have to walk and it's 50 miles away, you need to leave about 5 days early. 5 days of walking are much better then life in prison.

The authorized punishments for conviction of a felony are:

    1. For Class 1 felonies, death, or imprisonment for life and a fine of up to $100,000.
    2. For Class 2 felonies, imprisonment for life or a minimum of 20 years and a fine of up to $100,000.
    3. For Class 3 felonies, imprisonment for five to 20 years and a fine of up to $100,000.
    4. For Class 4 felonies, imprisonment for two to 10 years and a fine of up to $100,000.
    5. For Class 5 felonies, the jury or court may choose imprisonment for one to 10 years or jail for up to 12 months and a fine of up to $2,500, either or both.
    6. For Class 6 felonies, the jury or court may choose imprisonment for one to five years or jail for up to 12 months and a fine of up to $2,500, either or both

    I'm a little confused here - you're on probation but don't know why? You didn't know you're a Class 1 Felon?

Like Judy said above - how did you possibly get on probation for a class 1 felony and not know it is a class 1 felony? This must be some miscommunication here on your part. Just what was your crime?

Not knowing their probation rules, the probation department may have classes of felonies, ( not related to the felony class in court)
What most of us call "levels of probation"

Right, I can see where being charged for conspiracy for burglary, criminal trespass and unlawful taking takes you out of the "pefect" class but that has nothing to do with the probation.
