Mean Friends! What do I do?
At my school there is one girl who used to bemy best friend. Now she is starting to hang out with a crowd of girls we had both agreed on that we hated. Now she is starting to ignore me. When i ask other people if she is talking behind my back they say "Yes, she says you're weird" although i don't perceive myself as annoying and none of my other friends think so. I was wondering What do i do?? THanks. :( ,

No real friend would be mean to you.. Maybe you want to reevaluate your friendship. I say she is not a real friend because of her saying those things, however don't go around asking what she is saying about you be bigger than her and don't believe everything you hear.. Everyone has a "best friend" during each stage of life-only a precious few have the same one... You will meet people who you will consider your friends Best friends should bring out the best in you and wouldn't behave like this. I know it hurts because you considered her a friend but you know what when those other girls abandon her she is going to come back looking for you and realize that you were her friend.. If she doesn't want to talk to you well then that is her loss, you seem like a sweet girl and I am sure you will find TRUE friends... Don't let it bother you hun...

All I read was the title of your thing,
If your friends are being mean,
They are not worth your time,
    Trust me.
Perhaps you would be better off making new ones that would treat you better.

Friends sometimes change over time, and something the wrong type of life and activities are "fun" and they start finding new friends.
It is hard but often we have to admit they are not longer a friend and let them go. Some may see their mistake latter others never do.
So it may be time to worry and care about your friend, but acknowledge they may not really be a friend any longer and have moved to other friends and things.

It may be time for newer best friends and to go on with life.

If there is one thing in life that never changes, it is change itself.

As we grow older, we do change, some for the better, and some not.

You will always be re-evaluating friendships, relationships, and all the choices we make in our journey from the cradle to the grave.

If she is talking behind you back, I'd say that she is no longer your friend. You don't need to be mean back to her, just slowly distance yourself from that ex-friend, and have more fun with the people who you are more comfortable with. From the sound of your post, your ex friend is the one who lost out in this deal.

Hey, I had the same thing. So one day he yelled at me, punched him. Told him to leave me alone. But hey. Your a girl. I'm sure you don't punch. Just ignore it, find new friends.

People change as we grow, and so will you. Ignore the gossip and rumors, but be alert as people saying there your friend, may not be true, so judge by actions, and not words.
