    Portuguese nationality
    I have been married with a portuguese woman for 8 years I have indefenitly leave to remain in U.K, what should I do to apply for portuguese nationality,or european resident?

    First of all you must make a decision "where" you are going to stay long term, to obtain citizenship means you physically have to be in that country at certain period and have to maintain residency by living there, pay taxes, etc.

    Answer this question first, and the rest would be easy.

    Portuguese law allows you to declare that you would like Portuguese nationality as long as you have been married for three years. Go to the nearest Portuguese Consulate and they will help you out.
