Hot is not always good, hot means you could get burned.

Ah a challenge, I had a situation very similar to yours once, a long, long time ago. The guy I was attracted to told me point blank that he wasn't into "relationships" ah, I thought, I can change his mind. Yup the puppy love eyes, the challenge that he presented, what did I get out of it? Well, we ended up in bed a few times and he never did make a commitment to me, apparently I was a challenge too. ;)

Well, I don't go for just hot. I go for the hot-but-really-innocent-and-sweet girls...

... by the way, those girls are even worse.

    Sneezy... she's playing you.

    Find another girl.

I personally was only sweet and innocent in high school. I got out of high school and made up for lost time. I've always been kind of oblivious to when a guy likes me, though, unless it was so obvious that it was scary.

Now I live up to my online name--Synn. Funny thing, I've had more proposals and been asked out more since I got married than any time in my life. Comes with being really naughty, in a witty sort of innuendo way combined with the fact that I'm really Suzy Homemaker. I am a really good cook, I clean, sew, crochet, knit, embroider, quilt, blah blah blah. Seriously, I should have been a 1950s wife, since I excel at that crap.

Find a naughty girl, Sneezy, but one that's naughty in not-so-obvious ways. They're way more fun, and they tend to have hiddent talents ;)

Aw synn, don't ruin this for me... I actually still have hope that women are innocent/sweet... don't do that.

    /shrug

Women can be innocent and sweet. Occasionally even *I* am accused of it.

That doesn't mean that they don't like attention, and encourage it when they get it, even if they have no intention of it going any further than being adored.

Some women have no idea that they're doing just that.

But... not returning your phone calls is RUDE. It's rude regardless of who it's coming from. I don't put up with that from anyone I call my friend (unless they have kids under the age of 2--then it's just an "oh well, they got busy and then finally found some sleep" kind of thing). I certainly don't put up with it from my family.

And anyone that was interested in pursuing you back would definitely call you back---or would have changed plans from a casual outing with friends in the first place.

She likes the attention you give her, but isn't interested in more, or she would have called back to schedule a different time with you, if nothing else.

    QUITE bad alty QUITE bad.

OOH. Alty. You're a mom. Need your outlook on something.

I'm going to europe in 2 weeks. So.. I'm not a drug user... never have.

However, my buddies and I are meeting up in amsterdam... and they're into the pot-smoking thing. Now, chances are, we'll be going to coffee shops... and it's not really a legal issue for me as it's legal there, but it's more of a moral issue.

But I also question my moral issue as it's only a moral issue due to the law here.. . hm

If your kid told you that they're going to amsterdam and they're wondering if you're OK if they tried out pot, your outlook?

Are you saying if it was legal here you'd be smoking pot? Up to you hun.

Mom Alty, Don't you dare smoke pot young man, don't make me come over there!

    That help?

    Yeah I guess.

I'm not so sure if I'd smoke pot if it were legal here. But I'm not so sure that I wouldn't. I feel like I'm jaded by the idea that it's illegal and it's SO bad for you... but the outlook on pot is much more laid back in the netherlands.

It's kind of like owning a gun... if someone owns a gun here in the US, it's not that big of a deal... but it's illegal where I'm from as guns have been outlawed.

    Bah.

Pot is no worse for you than alcohol. Ever hear of someone getting HIGH (on pot, anyway) and killing a family of 4 because they went driving?

It also converts Vitamin D to Melatonin when you have a prolonged time of no sunshine!

I personally see it like alcohol--good in moderation, if used responsibly.

As long as you don't have to pass any drug tests, I'd at least TRY it over there. :)

I see. Actually, I do have to pass a drug test when I get back, but maybe after 2 - 3 weeks after amsterdam. I guess I'll decide when I get there.
