    Lightless Fan ?
We recently bought a new Monte Carlo fan (Royal Danube Model) and are encountering problems. This particular model is remote controlled thus, this is where the problem starts. After I installed the fan, I tried out the handy remote control. The remote controlled the speed of the fan flawlessly, however, the remote did nothing of controlling the light on top of the fan:mad:. After a couple minutes I finally got the light to come on, but then it wouldn't go off! I tried changing the position of the dip switches (frequencies, although we have no other remote controlled fans!), but still no results. HELP ME!!

How do you have the remote wired? How do you have the light wired?

If everything is wired correctly then something is defective and should be returned.
