Ooh... if I get back to the office before we close today, I'll pick up my pirate picture and scan it... I dressed up as a full fledged pirate for Halloween.

A nun eh? Haha! Well if anyone could pull that off it would probably be you! ;) I have a friend here that does community theater, and she has played so many different characters. It's so much fun to watch her get into character. I can't remember who she played in the Rocky Horror Picture Show, but it was great!

Sneezy... care to convince her otherwise? ;)

Hahaha! You never know what will come out of my mouth with those extra shots! Could get scary. ;)
Oh no, just got a PM from the 12yr old girl. I soooo don't know what else to say to her, and I don't know if she's a troll or not. But I sure don't want to NOT answer her if her whole story is true. Urrghhh... what to do!?

The one that posted the boy/girl question? Oh boy... I don't know...
If it was me, I'd do like you said - trust until given reason to not... is there a way that you can cc a moderator on a PM?
Sticky...

DO NOT ANSWER PMS.
Tell them to repost their private message in the thread, as we have a policy at AMHD to ONLY answer questions publicly, in case misinformation is given, so that others can correct it.
NEVER answer a PM from someone with a question in it (unless it's your friend and they're asking you to go to drinks)

She's not really asking a question. She told me where she is from because she didn't want it to be public. She implied a question though, asking why people aren't believing her. (not really asking, just saying she didn't know why.) I just would feel so bad if her whole story is actually true and no one believes her.
That was my only dilemna Synn. I've answered a few questions before I realized that I wasn't suppose to, so I'm more careful with doing that now.

Thanks Synn! I suppose this is my fault also, because I believe I did say that if she just needs to get her feelings out in private that she could PM me. It was late, and probably a lapse in judgement.
Starby bad! ;) I just hate hearing about young kids that are hurting, and I don't stop to think enough about the whole situation sometimes.

It is very sad, and you're sweet to care so much. To protect her (and yourself), Synn is right. Glad the girl has come here for help. She'll find it through advice given by people like you.

:) Okay... who wants to go for drinks now? I don't have time to send PM's to you. LOL!
Actually, I have to take off and get some work done... but I'll be back later of course!
Have a good afternoon all! :D

If you're really concerned about whether something is "real" and want it looked into, quietly PM one of the admins and ask whether there is anything they can check for you. Sometimes there is, sometimes there isn't--but most of the time you'll find they're already watching the question you're worried about.

With all due respect here if she is 12 years old do you honestly think its wise to be talking to her via a pm?? Think about it you could land yourself into hot water if her parents went investigating keep it all in the open if they won't post a thred then do it yourself have the sense to cover your rear.
