Installing a dryer where a stove was
We are remodeling and putting the electric dryer where the stove was. The plug is 50 amps. Can we do this if the dryer is 30 amps?? Or do we need to rewire?

You need to tell us EXACTLY what kind of wire was run to the stove. Size, type and number of conductors.

    Then we'll go from there.

Your stove had a plug but your dryer may have a different plug. When you answer Stanforty please also describ the plugs.
