    Spout Problems
    [QUOTE=mhs92]Can you help me?

    I can quite figure out the order to the various parts on the spout.

    I have a 'slip on', not threaded, with the allen screw underneath.

    And, it flows backwards after I get it attached.

    I have a plastic washer, a rubber o-ring, and the slotted nipple, where the allen screw secured to the pipe.

    What the right order? Sheesh, if only I'd looked closer 8 weeks ago when I took it off to seal the tiles...

    Thanks,

    Michael

    What you have done is roll the "O" ring off its position. You must first remove any burrs or rough edges from the end of the copper pipe. That's what's catching the "O" ring. I don't have one before me but I believe the "O" ring will fit in the slot. If in doubt run down to a big box store and check a new one. Good luck, Tom
